Q: What is included in the rental price?
A: Señor Slushy’s provides the following:

  • Frozen Drink Machine
  • Free Delivery set-up, and next day pickup
  • Free first batch of drink mix with live instruction
  • 5 gallon mixing container
  • Heavy duty cart for machine placement
  • 50 cups to get you started
  • Salt rimmer with salt (for margaritas only)
  • Approved extension cord
  • Cleaning of the machine
  • Telephone support number

Q: Does Señor Slushy’s provide alcohol?
A: No. The customer must provide all alcohol and accepts full responsibility for serving it at their party. Please have the alcohol on site when we arrive with the machine.

Q: How much ice do I need?
A: NONE. The drink mix is combined with water and alcohol (if desired). This mix combination is then poured into the machine. The machine will take care of the freezing.

Q: How much mix will I need?

A: Typically one batch serves 25 people. This is a pretty consistent rule of thumb even if you are serving additional beer, wine, and/or mixed drinks.

Q: How much mix do you bring?
A: We will bring more mix than you need but you only pay for what you open. The first bottle of mix is on us. Any additional opened drink mixes will cost $20 each.

Q: How long does it take the first batch to freeze?

A: Approximately 30 minutes for machines placed indoors and 60 minutes for machines placed outdoors. The machine should be placed in the shade and out of direct sunlight. For faster freeze times please have your alcohol and water pre-chilled before we arrive. Please keep these freeze times in mind when scheduling the delivery time for your event.

Q: Are the machines easy to use?
A: Absolutely! Plug it in, pour in the mix, and turn it on. Remember, we mix the first batch and show you how to use the machine.

Q: What type of electricity does the machine require?
A: The frozen drink machines use a standard 110 volt 15-20 amp dedicated circuit. This means that nothing else should be running on that circuit, or you will trip the circuit breakers. The machines should be placed near the outlet. If needed, we will provide you with an approved extension cord at no additional charge. Please DO NOT attempt to use your own extension cord on our machines. You are responsible for any/all damages to the machine.

Q: How should I clean the frozen drink machine?

A: You don’t, we do! When your party is over, simply turn off the machine and we will pick it up. You will have enough other stuff to clean!

Q: Can these machines be used for kid’s parties?

A: Of course! Any of our mix flavors can be served without alcohol for kids and adult events. Our kids love them!

Q: How far in advance should I reserve my machine?

A: The sooner the better. We recommend at least two weeks for the peak Holiday Seasons and traditional party events such as New Years Eve, Cinco de Mayo, Halloween and Buckeye Games. If you are expecting a large group of guests, we strongly recommend a second machine to keep up with the frozen drink demand. Please ask about our multi-machine discounts.

Q: How long can I keep the machine?
A: We drop it off the day of your party and pick it up the next day at the agreed time. If you need the machine picked up the same evening, we can arrange that as well (additional charges may apply). If you need it longer, please let us know when making your reservation and we will quote you an extended rental rate. Overnight rentals do not mean the rental period is for 24 hours.

Q: What payment can I use?
A: Señor Slushy’s accepts Cash, Personal Check, Visa, MasterCard, and Paypal. A $30 deposit is required at the time of reservation. Full rental payment is due at the time of delivery.
